About tuooi
tuooi shows Korean travelers the flight they can actually book and go on, not a wall of search results. It is a real-time flight-deal curation service: instead of showing every fare, we pick the few direct-flight deals to Japan and Southeast Asia that are actually worth taking, and deliver them where people already are: short, mobile-native posts on Threads that link back to this site.
How it works
- A 24/7 pipeline scans direct-flight fares across date pairs for each destination.
- Deals are filtered for the traps that make “cheapest” misleading, such as extra baggage fees and long flight times.
- The selected deals are turned into short posts and published to our Threads account, @tuooi.trip.
- Readers compare and book through our partners (Trip.com, MyRealTrip). We earn an affiliate commission on bookings; prices are never marked up.
- We act on reader feedback from comments and DMs: new routes, rainy/dry-season timing, and weekend-inclusive dates all came from it.
Our story
- Aug 2025: Launched as a flight-search subscription that found every fare matching your conditions.
- Early 2026: Learned from users that they wanted fewer, better options picked for them, not more.
- Apr 2026: Relaunched as tuooi, an affiliate-based curation service, with a 24/7 deal pipeline and the Threads account @tuooi.trip.
- 2026: Added weekend-inclusive dates, rainy/dry-season timing and new routes from reader comments; reached 1.8M views and 14K followers; expanded into carousels and short-form video.
- Oct 2026: Opened the AI travel assistant beta on tuooi.com, built on the Claude API: tell it your dates, budget and mood, and it picks from today’s live deals.
- Next: grow that assistant into a personal travel concierge. It starts from the flight you can actually book and plans the whole trip around it and your own dates.

Built with Claude
tuooi is a multi-LLM service built on Claude. The whole system was built with Claude (Claude Code): the fare pipeline, the publishing automation, a script engine for card-news and short-form video, Figma automation that lays out carousels, and an emotion-tagged comment corpus we use to understand why people want to travel. Each model does what it is best at: Claude handles building, reasoning and orchestration, and Gemini is used only for the tone of Korean social copy.
Next, we plan to move more of production onto the Claude API, including fact-checking prices and dates before anything is published, agentic workflows that turn one deal into posts, carousels and video scripts, and an assistant on tuooi.com that finds deals matching each reader’s own dates.
Team
tuooi is built and run by a solo founder, Jaehyeon Kim, in South Korea. It started in August 2025 as a flight-search subscription and became tuooi, a curated-deal service, in April 2026. The company is bootstrapped.
The pivot came from our users. The subscription found every fare that matched, but people didn’t want more options; they wanted a few good ones picked for them. So we started curating, and we keep changing tuooi with one goal: making travel easier.
